In life, we are often faced with challenges and adverse life difficulties to various circumstances. These challenges may evoke ambivalent feelings or behavioural patterns which could affect our sense of self and the relationships we share with others.

Being overwhelmed by these challenges, we are often unable to utilize our coping strategies optimally. This for some, leads to various levels of psychological distress such as irritability, disconnection, isolation and anxiety (to name a few). This can make it difficult to function optimally within our current surroundings.

During a process of therapy, you are allowed the opportunity to reflect on your concerns within a supportive and facilitative environment so that new understanding is gained regarding your problems. Furthermore, functional skills and coping mechanisms are explored to better cope with current and or future life adversities.
